Doug has 20 years commercial real estate experience. After graduating from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, Doug began has career at Torode Realty in Calgary. He initially specialized in Office, then Retail leasing, and subsequently progressed to Investment Sales. Light Industrial and Box Retail revenue property, and development land are his focus.
Doug has relocated to Edmonton in 2008. He travels frequently to Calgary and maintains his close ties to the Calgary Barclay Street office. He is also in Red Deer weekly. Doug is very active in the Calgary-Edmonton corridor, and has current, first-hand knowledge of the Corridor because of the frequency of which he is in each city.
Recent clients include Hopewell Residential Communities, Carma, Carevest Financial, MDC Properties, Harvest Group of Companies, Matco Investments, Homburg, Strategic Real Estate, Northwest Healthcare Group, Leben Reit, Northland Developments, Avenir Properties, Decker Properties, TD Bank.
